Photos from Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s wedding
Though the couple have tried to keep their private ceremony under wraps, certain social media posts have allowed us an inside peek at the wedding of the year.
A source told ET that they saw a bunch of wedding-goers gathering at a hotel nearby the venue before heading off. “Everyone is dressed in white with most women in white dresses and gowns, and most men in white suits.”
According to the source, the dress code is probably pretty lax: “Some men are in white shorts and sneakers and there is a female guest in a white fringe leather jacket and sparkly cowboy hat.”
Filmmaker Kevin Smith shared a photo of himself, his wife, and friends all dressed in white –– confirming the wedding’s all-white theme.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck second wedding location and date
The couple’s three-day (second) affair is taking place from August 19 to 21 (California time), at Affleck’s million-dollar coastal estate in Riceboro, Georgia.
The massive home sits on a reported 87 acres with three houses built on the land. The main residence rests on 6000 square feet and has three bathrooms and five bedrooms according to Hollywood Life.
JLo has been visiting the location over the last few weeks to plan the perfect party, reports TMZ.
Photos of the compound in the lead-up to the event have shown an elaborate set-up underway, complete with a giant marquee on the grounds, elegant tables set up on a riverfront dock and a fireworks display ready to be set off.
The wedding is being officiated by Jay Shetty, a British-born former monk, who now works as a life and purpose coach. He officiated Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell’s wedding last year.
Jennifer Lopez’s second wedding dress: The details and designer
According to Page Six, Lopez is expected to wear a custom Ralph Lauren wedding dress made in Italy, with her entire wedding dress journey to be documented by Vogue.
To whet your appetite for the gown reveal, this dress is expected to be markedly different to the two other dresses Lopez wore for her and Affleck’s first wedding on July 16.
For the special day, the ‘Let’s Get Loud’ singer wore one sleeveless A-line gown by Alexander McQueen which she originally wore on the poster for she and Affleck’s 2004 film Jersey Girl, as well as a gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.

Last month, Lopez confirmed to fans via her On the JLo newsletter that she and Affleck had eloped on July 16 in Vegas.
The only two people who attended that first wedding were reportedly Lopez’s child Emme and Affleck’s daughter, Seraphina.
In her newsletter, Lopez revealed that she and Affleck wed at Vegas’ Little White Chapel, getting there just in time for closing.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote.
“They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love’. We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to.”
How long have Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck been together?
Lopez and Affleck first met in 2002 on the set of Gigli. Lopez was still married to dancer Cris Judd at the time, but the writing was on the wall and nine months after their wedding she filed for divorce.
The media attention went into overdrive once Lopez and Affleck confirmed their relationship. The high-profile pair were quickly dubbed “Bennifer” by the press with their every move watched and documented.
In November 2002, Affleck proposed to Lopez with a 6.1-carat pink diamond Harry Winston ring. It cost him a reported US$2.5 million (approx. $3.2 million).
The pair sadly ended up postponing their wedding plans in 2003, citing “excessive media attention”. While the pair did their best to work through the obscene paparazzi attention they received, they ended up splitting up just four months later, in 2004.
The pair went their separate ways from there, but, in a moment of complete serendipity, rekindled their relationship again in 2021.
Lopez confirmed the pair were back together in one of the most exciting moments of July 2021.
