Ruturaj Gaikwad Ties Knot With Long-Time Girlfriend Utkarsha Pawar; Shares Pictures With Fans On Instagram

Indian and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ruturaj Gaikwad has tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Utkarsha Pawar. The right-hander got hitched today on Saturday (3rd June) and posted the pictures on his social media account to keep his fans updated. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s marriage took place at the luxurious ‘Le Meridien Resort & Spa’ at the Mahabaleshwar. The cricketer delayed his marriage due to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and once the league was over he wasted no time and got married. The function was attended by family members and close friends. No cricketer was spotted at the marriage.

Utkarsha Pawar was also presented in the stands when Chennai Super Kings won their 5th IPL Trophy by beating Gujarat Titans in the final on the reserve day on 29th May. Ruturaj Gaikwad posted a picture with her after the game and along with MS Dhoni called her the VVIP of his life.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad In India’s WTC Final Squad

After the star batter KL Rahul was ruled out of the ICC World Test Championship final, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) included opener Ishan Kishan as his replacement in the main squad. Also, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar, and Suryakumar Yadav were named as standby players.

Ruturaj Gaikwad was included in the squad as a stand-by opener but he reportedly informed the BCCI that he would be able to join the team only after June 5 due to his wedding.

As a result, the India team management decided to replace him in the squad with Yashasvi Jaiswal. The young Rajasthan Royals opener has already reached London and started training for the marquee clash, which is set to commence on June 7 at the Kennington Oval, London.
