When Rohit Sharma and Tom Latham were standing for the toss, an interesting thing happened. Rohit Sharma forgot to call his decision during the coin toss after Sharma flipped it.

India won the toss and chose to field, but it took Rohit Sharma a whole 20 seconds to decide what to do.

Only three days after giving us an edge-of-your-seat sensation, India and New Zealand are ready to go head-to-head in this second and crucial ODI with a series win on the line.
Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. Rohit Sharma stated during the toss,” I forgot what we wanted to do, had plenty of discussions with the team about the toss decision, just wanted to challenge ourselves under difficult conditions, but we’ll bowl first. Was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us.”

“Bracewell batted well, but we bowled well in the end and won the game. There was a bit of dew during the practice sessions, but we’ve heard from the curator that it will not play a role on game days. We batted first in Hyderabad, we wanted to bowl first here, same team” Rohit Added.

Watch: Rohit Sharma was unsure whether to bat or bowl for a time.

As Rohit Sharma forgets to call his decision during the toss, funny scenes happen. India won the toss and decided to bat, but Rohit Sharma needed 20 seconds to make the choice.

There were runs galore in Hyderabad, with Michael Bracewell almost matching Shubham Gill’s double century. Bracewell gave India a reality check after having the visitors on the ropes, as the left-hander nearly pulled off a miraculous victory.
